File # 2016-8795

On Sunday October 30, 2016 Quesnel RCMP were alerted by loved ones of an overdue hunter and his step-son.

55 year old Glen Brooker and his 10 year old step-son were reported as overdue from their day hunting trip. It was reported that Brooker left to hunt the area of Stoney Lake or Narrow Lake northeast of Quesnel on Saturday October 29 and failed to return home that night as planned.

Glen Brooker is driving a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup BC Plate 8413KR. He was pulling a grey and green Kingfisher riverboat and may be using that boat on the lakes or waterways in the area. The pair also had their chocolate lab dog with them for the excursion.

Quesnel RCMP along with Quesnel and Prince George Search and Rescue teams have been activated and are actively searching the area for the hunters.

If anyone of the pubic was in the area of Narrow Lake / Stoney Lake over the weekend and happened to see Brooker or his young step-son, the dog, the truck or the boat, is asked to please call the Quesnel RCMP at (250) 992-9211 with any information as soon as possible.
